| | | We invite you to consider a new educational and research Fellowship opportunity in the International Society for Holter and Noninvasive Electrocardiology (ISHNE), and encourage application for appropriate colleagues. Our international society, created in 1984, has been dedicated to the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiovascular disease, focusing primarily on noninvasive electrocardiology and related approaches. ISHNE’s focus has expanded to include a broad array of topics based on the underlying theme of non-invasive techniques to assess cardiovascular disease and management: arrhythmias, sudden death, coronary artery disease, and heart failure.
| |
The ISHNE Fellowship Program is designed to engage talented young cardiovascular clinicians and investigators who are actively involved in work related to ISHNE’s goals and mission. We anticipate that ISHNE Fellows will bring new ideas and areas of development for the society, will make cutting edge contributions to the field, and will progress to future officers and leaders of ISHNE.
The criteria for Fellowship include:
• Attainment of academic rank of Assistant Professor or equivalent • Authorship of 5 to 10 publications in high-level journals • One letter of recommendation from a non-ISHNE head of department/division or senior faculty member • One letter of recommendation from a member of ISHNE
Benefits of Fellowship will include the opportunity to apply for travel awards and academic awards and to be favored in opportunities to speak at ISHNE biennial meetings and other ISHNE symposia.
An official certificate of fellowship will be provided. There will be numerous opportunities to meet and interact with other ISHNE Fellows, the ISHNE Board of Trustees, and to contribute to the activities and programs of ISHNE.
Applications can be submitted online at www.ishne.org. Our website also provides an invaluable resource for educational and research materials concerning many areas of noninvasive electrocardiology in cardiovascular disease. Thank you for your interest in ISHNE.
We look forward to receiving Fellowship applications and to welcoming an energetic group of Fellows into the ISHNE family.
